Invisible monster/super slow loading asset problem
Hey there!

After searching online about this problem, I still have not found a solution...When I am in dungeons or indoor locations and predominantly after opening doors to other rooms, the lighting and the clickable objects and the monsters/npcs are taking ages to load/be seen on screen. (this means monsters attacking/wiping my party before I can interact with them)

I seem to be not the only one, as the bug seems to occur mostly on more modern graphics cards. I have a Nvidia 2080 RTX, drivers are up to date, no problems whatsoever with other (more demanding) games.

I have tried some solutions mentioned in these forums concerning the shader cache, but neither switching it off in the control panel, nor deleting the shader cache in the nvidia folder or the games folder seems to work. I have fiddled around with graphics settings to no avail. The game runs super smooth, otherwise.

I am at my wits end and really sad, because I have looked forward playing this game again (which I really like). I last played in the release year with an older graphics card and no such problems.

Maybe someone has an idea! Thanks for reading!

I just tried this on a gaming laptop with a GeForce 1650 Ti and the problem seemingly does not occur. Everything loads as it should, no hiccups or delays.

But I really want to play this on my desktop... :steamfacepalm:

I was able to fix this by enabling Vsync
