Clannad OST? [Standalone]
Is there a possibility we're ever getting the Clannad OST on steam, standalone from the game?
I'd absolutely looooooove to get it. :shigure2:

I don't think it's possible. Steam can't sell standalone music.

It can, i've seen soundtracks around the store.

For example http://store.steampowered.com/app/206450/

It's not standalone.

"This content requires the base game To the Moon on Steam in order to play."

Guess my wording was a bit off then. I was refering to selling the OST alongside the game, but not having to have the game opened to listen to it. iirc steam has a music player, if that explaination is clearer.

Understood. You can actually play NWA files using Foobar2000 with foo_adpcm plugin. If you don't like Foobar2000 for some reason, you can use it to convert NWA files into some other format.

I see, thanks.

I also believe it would be very cool if VisualArt's decided to put the CLANNAD Soundtrack on Steam like this.

Fortunately, the soundtrack is already available for purchase on itunes internationally: https://itunes.apple.com/au/album/clannad-original-soundtrack/id823583025

However, since this release features an updated version of the soundtrack, I'd like to see the new soundtrack become available for purchase somewhere. I don't mind if it's itunes or Steam, just give us somewhere to buy it!

The soundtrack is easily one of the best parts about any of Key's Visual Novels, so I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

From what i read in the wikia, some of the OST such as 'Over' which is used in the Anime itself, are not part of the VN. It would be nice if they can could add in these bonus soundtracks as well but i really wish they could just add in the orignal soundtrack.

If you want, the original OST is available straight from Visual Art's/Key on the US iTunes. This won't have the updated tracks as the version on itunes is from the original release of the game in Japan. This is also the same as the physical version. I'm not sure if the KS OST is of the original or the new one.

I found them somewhere and I download it. Then I new a folder named OST under Clannad folder and copy all the films to it. Then went to settings to scan music . And it works. Just like the OST DLC.. :steamhappy:

Is there a plan to release lossless files somewhere?

I don't mind buying it anywhere, as long as

1. Digital
2. Lossless

Currently listening to 'Shionari'. So damn beautiful soundtrack.
