also ores are fairly evenly distributed, apart from aluminum being primarily in mountains.
and that one doesn´t have square tiles as biomes anymore but huge islands surrunded by a sea.
The seed ^demo^ works in the Unity-version for sure. I tried seed lake , seed cliff,, seed beach but i don't know if they really work.
In other words, it's not a number you can manipulate to try to force the world generator to create a type of world you're looking for. You just have to try different ones until you get what you like, though some ranges of numbers may create similar styled worlds. You can use words (they just get converted to their number equivalent), but if they actually create something resembling what the word implies, it's just luck. I don't think Red has put keywords into the Unity version to override the RNG and create a specific type of world. I think the Java version had some of those. That could be a feature.
He may also override the RNG for some features, like the starting island biom. What we don't have right now are options for world creation that can manipulate the style of landmass, and there is a limit to the size of the islands that can be created. Red mentioned that in one of the other threads and he'll probably add more control over the world generator in the future.
But at least seeds are shareable so if we find certain numbers we like, sweet. I have several that people have posted here that generated worlds I liked ready to go when we hit 1.0. Waiting to see what they look like once we have the new bioms.
