If you are playing the dated version of the game, you need to make sure when you hit the play button in steam that you click on playing the new version of the game which looks so much better.
i love the survival and world exploration aspect but it still needs work, so people coming specifically for that could get frustrated and hinder attempts at expanding the playerbase instead of helping.
edit; another good idea would be to help review the reviews- upvote ones that are helpful and informative, actually describing the gameplay and what kind of things to expect in the unity version of the game right now, and downvote ones that are outdated or unhelpful, such as ones that complain of missing features which are no longer missing, or ones that are so brief they don't actually tell people anything about the game.
good reviews are ones that will help someone decide whether the game will appeal to them specifically, as it currently is. bad reviews are vague stuff like 'i liked it'/'looks promising' or inaccurate ones that may have been helpful in the past but are no longer accurate to the current amount of content.
