Good seeds?
Anybody have any good seeds that have lots of the spruce forest area? I'd love to know them!

the mini biomes like the spruce forest are all pretty small and evenly spaced no matter what seed i try really, but each island is very large so i think if you fly around a bit, just about any island will have a good sized patch somewhere on it.

I always end up using a combination of manually planting a tons of saplings and using the terrain painting tools in creative mode and making my old larger spruce forest. For some reason games always have that as a smaller biome.

I managed to find a good seed with a decent size spruce forest, it even has a lake in the center. The seed is "Ruby" it's not too far from spawn. Next time I'm on I'll have to get the cords.

holy crap, that IS a big spruce forest! and the spawn is a big deciduous forest! DOUBLE FOREST!!! hope you don't mind i beat you to the coords and pics.

I don't mind at all!! I'm glad you checked it out! I'm currently building a fire watch tower in the spruce forest. I also love the lake, it's gonna make a great fishing spot!
