First of all, a huge thank you to all the testers who joined our Closed Alpha playtest! We’ve collected so much valuable feedback, and our dev team has used it to build a solid plan to level up the game's quality.

Here is a look at the key issues we've identified and our direction for improvement:

• Tutorial Overhaul: We are completely redesigning the early game experience. A new maid-led guidance system will be introduced to make the onboarding process much more intuitive.

• Maid Interactions: Maid growth will become the core of the game. We’re enhancing their personalities and adding many more ways to connect with them beyond just running the restaurant.

• Immersive Cooking: We’re adding layers of depth to the cooking system, strengthening the fun of the various cooking processes to make the experience more engaging.

• Refined Controls & UX: To reduce player fatigue, we are adding comfort options tailored for the 3D environment and improving the overall UI/UX, including furniture placement.

• NPC Variety & Quality: We’re polishing NPC animations and diversifying customer models to bring more life and energy to the cafe.

• Natural Maid AI: We are optimizing pathfinding and improving how the status of maids and customers is displayed so you can grasp the situation at a glance.

• Management Loop: We plan to boost the fun of management by introducing automation elements and market systems.

In addition to these, we’ll be fixing various minor bugs. To ensure the highest quality within our schedule, some features have been moved to post-beta updates. The upcoming Beta will focus on core features like the automation system, AI feedback improvements, new interaction content, and unique customers.

We are currently conducting the 2nd closed alpha test for Maid Cafe Simulator. A number of improvements have been made since the pre-alpha build, and we are verifying these changes through this test.

Main stories, bond stories, and daily stories are now clearly distinguished, with varying depths of narrative expression for each type.

Furniture was previously pre-installed in fixed positions. You can now freely place and arrange furniture however you like.

New ambient sounds have been added for both the interior and exterior of the cafe, and sound effects have been significantly expanded to enhance immersion.
Maid voiceovers are currently being scheduled for recording and could not be included in this build. They will be added in a future update.

Lighting has been improved across the board so that the maid characters look their best.

• More complex recipes now yield greater profits through revised level design.

• A quest structure has been introduced for acquiring maids sequentially.

• The quest flow is designed so that players naturally learn how to play as they progress.

• Customers now have more varied ordering patterns.
