Genesis is in the same state it's been since 2013, on indefinite hold. The idea might be revived at some point, but as an indie development team it's not something that's really viable for us. The game was never anything more than a small tech demo and a bunch of art assets that have since been re-used in Extinction.
When Extinction is finished, might you guys work on the game, or is there a copyright dispute since LukeWarm's defunct?
I do love the idea of Genesis, but I also think that Lukewarm were overly ambitious and it was a bad idea to attempt such a huge project on an indie budget. Who knows what the future might bring, but if Genesis ever does happen, I would expect it to be fairly different than what was previously proposed.
In your opinion, what would you want Genesis to be?
AH, that game lol
wat
Also. If, Lets Say, Lukewarm Managed to Get a Larger Dev Team and Somehow Pulled a Valve and Got Lots of Money.
Would They Bring you Guys back in to Help On Genisis, if they Worked on it again?
