But in the meantime, I recommend doing this (if you're on Windows):
* Open the game
* With the game running, alt+tab, go here & delete this file: C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\MoonHunters\SaveData\keybindings.bin
* Close the game
* Re-open the game -- your game should properly detect the devices again.
Let me know how it goes!
* Double-check you don't have anything else weird attached or installed that could possibly be interpreted as a controller (joysticks, drivers, etc)
* It's important that you're on the latest Steam version too -- I mean, it also has bugs, but it is certainly more reliable than older builds.
If I press a key on the keyboard, the file "keybindings.bin" returns, and I have to delete it again to be able to play in controller.
Please, when will this be resolved? any prevision?
There was not such problem the last time I played the game (6-8 months ago).
Experiencing this on two different MSI notebooks with ps4 controllers.
Tried to disable-enable bluetooth, removing all paired controllers from bluetooth, restarting game and etc.
I'm having this same problem. Is there a fix?
Same issue. Controller 1 acts as 2 controllers every time. I've tried in Big Picture Mode, without BP Mode, with DS4Windows, without DS4 Windows. I can't run it without Steam; closing Steam closes the game. I've tried both Bluetooth and cabled. There's no second controller attached atm. It totally breaks the game for me in solo and couch co-op.
If I used x360ce and start the game that way, then it recognises the controller but the key mappings are weird...
Btw, now two PS4 gamepads work flawlessly in coop, so my issue is fixed.
