We've announced our next game, a Byzantine RPG simulation: Streets of Fortuna

Hey Moon Hunters!

It's been awhile since we've talked here, but we thought you might want to hear that Kitfox has announced another PC-first title, in the PC Gaming Showcase last weekend around Summer Games Fest. We showed off a whole gameplay trailer for Streets of Fortuna, with glimpses of thievery, cooking, flirting, and more:

Plus, as we've touted elsewhere, Tarn Adams, the co-creator of Dwarf Fortress is consulting for us on the design and architecture, to assist the simulation and procedural generation of Fortuna being as deep and rich as we hope it can be. We still have a lot of work left to do until we get to even just the initial release, but maybe this is also a Kitfox project for many years after that too.

But if you're looking for a taste of a Moon Huntersy game(?), maybe take a break and try out this little chatroom app we made in a week over the winter solstice, last December. You'll need someone to host a server but then you and your friends can enjoy a campfire, snowballs, and meditation in Campfire Chat:

Celebrating 5 years of Moon Hunters

it's been 5 years since Moon Hunters released. Our little game has grown into a big, healthy community across the world, and we're so glad that it connected with people.

Moon Hunters has had over 500,000 copies sold and over 600,000 hours played. 180,000 people have finished the game at least once, on Steam alone... and only 37.9% of those were based in North America! We've loved seeing friends play together and get to know each other better, making choices together.

And so, we celebrate! Until Monday, if you own ANY Kitfox game, you can get a 15% discount on ALL our other games -- and pick up many of them for an additional 75% off or more!

In the past five years we've released a wide variety of titles, so surely at least one of them would make a great gift for someone in your life. Whether you have friends that are into cults, tribes, Henry VIII, or murder mysteries, we have all of them covered for just a few bucks each.

🌙 Pandemic Relief Fundraiser 🌙

In times of global uncertainty and change, the only way to get out of this tough situation is to go through it - together.

Kitfox Games is partnering with the United Nations Foundation to raise money for the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 response.[covid19responsefund.org]

From April 10th - 13th, all of Kitfox’s profits from our game sales (85% off!) will go to the WHO COVID-19 Relief Fund.
