TIP FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS THE REAL ENDING

You must first play untill you return to the constellation area and see the moon priestess talking with king marduk that turns into a raging Ashur.

Then you have to go to one of the constellations of a hero you have won with, preferably your best hero because this is the epic fight! You can see your heroes abilities and stuff too so you can see the best ( i did it with a full upgraded habana )

Once you pick a hero (use constellation, not new game) , walk over to the priestess and step on the moon platform behind her.

Voila... won't spoil anything else

Is it the real ending or endless mode? I thought the real ending was accessed differently.

I think OP is talking about endless mode.

The real ending, which I haven't achieved, starts with the stone sculptor.

Follow the direction, and I did find the weird circle at a NORMAL place. I messed up the order however.

I did fight the 2X version of sun king and lose. I didn't see the 'real' ending.

Well, you have to defeat the sun God, that's the true ending,

There are many other ending with normal mardok and mega mardok but c'mon sun God is the target here.

If you do the wrong order you can just quit the game & reload, you'll have another chance to enter the right order.

Btw how am I supposed to know the order to enter the 3 moon phases? I've not seen any hint of that in the game.
