Class builds?
I have 2 questions.
1) When you win a game and you get to keep the hero you played as, do the stats go to default or do they stay as they were? I ask because I see that all my swordmen hero have exactly the same 6 stats, but I havent played the game in a long time.
2) Is there a guide that explains how I should train each hero? I know that the sorceress needs Intellect for magic attack, and probably Endurance and Faith for Hp and more Mp, but I am pretty much clueless for the rest of the characters. If anybody could tell me the 2/3 more important attributes of a hero it would be awesome.

When you start a game you're playing the "story" the only thing that carries across is the variety of unlocks, stats personally don't matter unless your wanting a easier or hard attempt as I can normally beat the basic boss with a default level character.

perhaps you should look at the guides?
As the starsigns and continuations are what your wanting to achieve.

As Heros within a story, death is immortal.

I am not looking for the constelations. I want to know if there is a way to build the best fighter for the endless mode, to do that I need to know which stats to improve during my run, to maximize the most important attributes.
For example: Heduanna (the purple sorcerres) probably needs Magic attack and Hp, so putting physical atack is probably a waste. I want to know the stats I should improve for each particulary class.

ah, ok, go for health and energy regen. You can get alittle overpowered to the point where attacks for most mobs except the larger ones don't have an effect.

Personally I like the Spellblade and Witch. With a heap of Strength, Spirit and Endurance. For Dash/AoE and Blood beam spamming. As both allow knockback and mean you can kite back and forth as needed on minimal health.

If you at stuck, you can press Tab ingame to which stats effect your class while your playing so that you can choose more build friendly choices. Also try for a heap of towns and extra locations to get those +2/+10 stat events.

Yeah, my only problem was knowing which classes need Intellect or Strength. Some are pretty obvious, but others like the Spellblade confuse me. He does physical attacks, but his tornados are magic perhaps?

Dumuzi (Swordsman) and Enkidu (Druid) should be completely strength based. (Not 100% sure about tornado, slam, and poison ivy damage)

Enheduana (Void Mage) and Roa (Songweaver) are completely Intelligence for damage

Kudele, Sargon, and Ninlil are strength for basic attack and intelligence for special attack, including fire damge from Sargon's Meteor.

Kudel and Sargon use strength for the dodge damage, including the fire trail Sargon leaves behind him.

Endurance (HP) is always useful, but don't go out of your way for it in camp. Many story options will get this stat up. I just compeled a run where I started at 15 endurance and ended at 51 completely from NPC interaction.

For stamina (MP): Going for Faith (stamina increase) over Spirit is usually better. Most fights either happen in burst, or there is enough down time after a cast because of cooldown or using another attack that the stamina you need will regenerate even with base spirit.

If you're trying to make a strong character to do endless mode, try this combo for solo play:
1. Choose the character you want
2. Take Sargon for player 2.
3. Have Sargon kill himself at the start of each mission (drop meteors on himself)
4. At camp, have Sargon cook for the stat you want to up (Meat + Bread is easy for +5 strength, pepper + bread is great for +7 int!)
5. Select hunting for Strength, Stargazing for Intellgence, or Keep Watch if you really need the HP boost

By doing this, the 'dead' sargon will give you an extra 25 stat points over the run, 35 for int because of cinamon toast (+7). You don't have to use Sargon, but he's the easiest because he can suicide. He can also kill any ally if you want to power him up instead... or just bring 2 sargons.

I made an Enheduana that could solo hard endless mode. Made it to round 208 without dying. The game actually crashed, so I techinically didn't lose. ;)

That guide is helpful for knowing which story choices to look for so you can get the stat ups you want.
