How does 2 Player Co-op work, really?
So, I started playing the game with my girlfriend and we got kinda bothered by one thing: I was player one and she was player two, and no matter what she chose, my choices were the only ones that mattered.

If we wanted to enter a place, I had to chose "yes", and if she chose "no", we'd still enter anyway (same goes if I chose "no" and she goes with "yes", we won't enter the place because I said so). When a moral choice appeared, mine was also the one that shaped the conversation. She did get points for her choices, but the story unfolded according to my choices alone, so it was like she wasn't even there at all. Not to mention my character had a light around it, but hers didn't, again, as if she wasn't even relevant (this is kinda nitpicking but it does take a bit away from the game for whoever is the 2P).

Is it supposed to be like that or am I missing something? I mean, I imagine that with 3 or 4 players, the choice that gets the most votes is the one that is going to decide what happens next, but when there's only two of us... what happens?

This is something that confused the crap out of a friend and I on our first run. No matter what, his choice was the only one that mattered. (Despite him being the one to join my game? What?)

Yeah, I still don't know what to think of it... it almost feels like I'm playing alone. I thought it was supposed to work like Star Wars: The Old Republic's system, where when two players chose different conversation options, the one that continues the dialogue is chosen by the game at random. It isn't the best thing ever since we can't see both outcomes, but at least it's fair.

My understanding is that the character with the highest Charm stat is the leader. The leader is the one who's choices matter most. If someone else gets a higher Charm their character will seize leadership the next morning. I think host gets to start as leader if the stats are equal but I am unsure of that.

Hmmn, that kinda makes sense, I'll try to notice if that's the case.

It is certainly the change. Whoever has more Charm will become leader of the party and make the decisions (there needs to be a tie breaker somehow.) Personality traits can still be made different though. 3 player is where its actually relevant to vote etc.

Yup, after making two runs with her we noticed that that's the case!
