You know what is strange? all assets are in game, and game should definetly switch to PC- xbox UI mode, but it seems script that select right UI is just bugged and they dont even bother to do an easy fix and nobody even playtested it well before release.
Shame that non of LUA decompillers work on scripts in this game, i would love to fix this bug directly in scripts, instead of using texture swap trick.

It probably has something to do with their partnership with Sony which also makes this decision pretty damn cynical as regards their own customers. Then again, all this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, considering DF's track record.
If this was a design decision, there would not be assets of xbox 360 controller with PC prefix\suffix in a name, and i dont see any advantages of sony or df for this. Sounds like bad excuse for lazy straight from PS4 port.
Anyway, with my patch you can get rid of this problem, and if only i would have tool to edit scripts or another file tha defines positions of text, i would fix minor issue with position of button functions in help screen. Oh wait, i just realised, that i need to swap BACK and RS button for mode switch, since on xbox contoller help screen it points to back, not to RS.
