the map is perfectly fine - but Ubi should make it possible for Naoe/Yasuke to climb everywhere...
I get it. The game wants us to go around so we waste more gameplay hours but the auto-route is sometimes absolutely absurd, telling you to travel 10km through twisting mountain roads just to reach something that's 1km away from you at the moment.
Can't help if Japan is like a dense populated forest area. Pretty realistic for that era
Welcome to 1579 Japan. The earth is literally water and trees.
There is still some secret chest and animals to chase down in some uncharted areas
Of course they can "help it". This is already not a 1:1 scale re-creation of Japan. Also, I'm not sure forests are ever THIS dense at ground level when there is a tree canopy overhead. Plants do like light, after all.
But also, if it's so dense I can't see through it, how am I MOVING through it so quickly? I mean, pick one. Either make the forests literally impassable or let us at least see the forest floor around us. Not that I expect this to change at this point. It's not THAT big a deal. But it's the topic, so just commenting.
I know and I make a habit of going to those areas where seemingly nothing is in them, I just feel the game overall lacks in meaningful or fun side activities that are not just QTEs or drawing animals.
You can use the katana to cut through your way if you plan to go through those areas. That's what I did, but again Japan was like that - and still is in some areas -
