A remark I have is unlike Odyssey, only your active weapon's engravings contribute to your stats. I realized this when I equipped Demon Tooth kusarigama with +2 to rush assassinations to the second slot and it still dealt base damage when I did not have the kusarigama active.
Secondly, I wonder if it's because of Expert stealth difficulty, but enemies spot me after the first shot with this "silent" teppo, no matter how far I am. Making the 200% damage out of combat worthless in practice.
Thirdly, armor piercing is essential for this build as otherwise all the damage from your first shot will go into just stripping the armor.
Fourthly, 1% damage per unspent mastery point is now capped at 200%, so you might want to spend the points on knowledge trees 6-8 trees, such as armor piercing, headshot damage, ranged damage and damage.
Fifthy, even in the best case scenario this seems like an incredibly niche and impractical build. It's only good at one thing, and has no answer to ammo economy which is a big thing with teppo builds.
That said, it's a fun build and I would like to make it work. I wouldn't use it for castles though, as Yasuke just doesn't have the stealth and parkour capability to reliably get to a vantage point. But for encamptments where you can climb on a rock, why not?
Come to think of it, I recently got a "Premium starter pack" and it comes with a teppo called Falling Leaf and an effect of +200% damage while on horseback. Hmm..
But teppo is cowards weapon do you want to end up like wasaka because thats how you end up like wasaka

You ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I'm in.
I'm back, basically follow the OP but replace 5% damage per metre of distance with 200% damage on horseback. The horse offers an added benefit of giving you elevation that enables you to rain death from above.
Is this capable of taking out an armored enemy with 6 chunks of health like the bow can? I doubt it, probably not. On the other hand, it can one-shot every grunt and comes with 20 bullets not to mention the special ones.
Oh and the nature of the engravings used means you can still run a melee weapon alongside it to use during duels and such, and not feel at a disadvantage.
It can take out anything on headshot....thats why you need 100% armor penetration.
