Enough with the tournament please!

This is the third consecutive week, THIRD, that the animus weekly quests include one that requires completion of the Tournament quest to be able to do it.

Please Ubisoft, I am trying to make progression on the Animus projects, and I feel quite cheated that I am denied 25% of the weekly progress because you just KEEP making one of the weekly Animus quests be related to the tournament.

Now some people will say "Well, just unlock the tournament and problem solved". But the thing is, as far as I could find out, the tournament requires me to nearly complete the main story. I have to kill 9 out of 12 of the main targets before the tournament unlocks.

I like playing my games a certain way, I prefer to do all the side-content first, and only do the main content last. So naturally I've been postponing the main targets since the game came out. And I feel quite cheated that week after week after week you just KEEP making one of the four weekly animus quest require that tournament BS.

For the love of god, STOP IT. The first week wasn't like this. It'd be one thing if it popped up once in a while, but EVERY.SINGLE.WEEK you just have to put that damned quest there, and I can't complete it. Come on man, work with me here.

Tournament is fun, and I'm glad to have reasons to go back. I hope and believe Tournament just gives you rewards by week for killing a boss or two.

You said yourself you keep the MSQ for last, but you have 7D per cycle to unlock at minimum the tournament.
And if nothing else, the battlepass also never disappears, so you can always make progress. You quite literally are missing nothing but the chance to get the rewards "early," and in a singleplayer rpg, who honestly cares.

You say you're taking your time, smelling the roses, but you also need to acknowledge your hitch on doing 100% side contest first is what's hindering you, not anything the game is doing. You can get tournament running in 5 hours. You are your own worst enemy here, so sometimes you just have to take the L.

Hey I'm not the one that decided the main quest had to be nearly done to unlock it.

Right okay and for what it’s worth I get why it’s slightly annoying, I wanted to have access to the tournament earlier myself for achievement hunting purposes, but look I don’t think it’s that big of a deal, if the quests are that important to you unfortunately you have to take out those 9 targets, understandable it’s annoying sure I just also don’t think not being able to do 1 weekly quest is that big of a deal, from a QoL perspective though it would be nice for them to unlock the tournament sooner that I’m sure we can agree on

Unlock the tournament in the first minute.

Complete the tournament and then uninstall the game.

Then brag in the forums how you beat the game in ten minutes.

Yes, on that much we can agree. Such a crucial part of progression on the battle pass should not be locked behind nearly completing the main story.

I could understand if it was like a pretty long side-quest, but nearly beating the game to get it? Come on. That was most definitely not the case for Odyssey or Origins

They just need to detect what level you are and customise the Animus content accordingly. I too was pissed off at having this Tournament BS showing up when I was nowhere near high enough level for it to appear in the world and I had no idea where to find the damned quest start. Amateurish game design

I also have been saddend by this and had no idea where this missions was.
As Also like to keep the main story untill last.

70hours in and not been able to participate in that one quest has been driving me nutz.

Now I feel like I have been being robbed.
Finish the game to unlock weekly rewards, who ever came up with that idea needs a bullet for sure.

Uhhhh that's taking it quite far don't you think? Come on, let's not ruin the argument with hyperbole.

At most I just think they shouldn't lock the tournament behind having completed like 90% of the main story. That was not the case in Odyssey, and it should not be the case here. That's all I'm saying.

Maybe I am a little upset that I just found out that I have been missing something because I choose to take my time with the game and save the main story.

no idea when i unlocked the tournament, but i've only got rid of seven main targets and got it done already, so you don't have to do nine
