Animus task: Gather Oakwood
Where do you find those?!
Is this simply the building material?

Thanks!
Turns out I found heaps raiding bandits ^^
You also have to find 150 of them. Talk about an utter, mind fumblingly tedious chore, not a challenge. Minimum-viable-effort at compelling content creation. It's the kind of thing that would only appeal to OCD Try-Hards.

I mostly ignored the battle pass thing and ended up getting maybe the first half dozen reward levels without trying. Seems fair. I did a couple of the in-game glitches if I happened across them, but yeah... don't see the point of actually grinding this stuff.
kakurega contracts give it as a reward as well. buy 100 from a trader and you'd probably pick up the rest without noticing
there's things that are grinds, and this isn't it. odyssey was MUCH worse, for example

You can also break down old bows and I think Teppos too

Right now I have that specif anomalie, however, nothing seems to complet the task. I gathered enough oakwood and it didn't changed. I got from contracts, from chests and even dismantle, but it simply doesn't count towards the pass mission. xD

I have not found a single oakwood yet. I assume it's because I haven't unlocked the guy yet, lol

yeah, you won't find any of his specific materials until he's available to play as

I completed this task just by looting some chests at a Castle.

It's easy, accept a mission at the Kakurega that gives you the right resources. There's usually one that yields 100 Oakwood.
