Mythical Animals!
Apparently you can find them in Japan too! :O

Sadly, unlike Odyssey, it seems there are no quest to find them. You need to be lucky enough to stumble on them...

Yes, there are legendary animals you can draw like any other animal. Found a legendary tabuki by chance. They are however not even remotely the same as the mythical animals in Odyssey or so. I.e. other than drawing them there is no gameplay involved or quest even.
