does this version of the game include any future dlc / expansions to the game?

The Assassin’s Creed Shadows Digital Deluxe Edition includes:

- The base game

- The Sekiryu Dual Pack including gear and weapon sets for both Naoe and Yasuke, the Sekiryu Beast, and Dragon Tooth trinket

- The Sekiryu Hideout Pack including four unique ornaments to customize the hideout for your shinobi league

- Five mastery points

It seems they will be sold separately like Elden Ring's DLC content then

Thank you Scarla. If that is true regarding upcoming expansions, the deluxe edition is suddenly pointless because it only includes ingame items that i dont need .. looks like a pre-order of the base game is enough..... just saved me 20 euros

One last question regarding pre-order for the game (to earn the extra content + quest + future expansion) when is the last date of pre-order eligible ?
Im assuming day before release but would be happy to confirm

Yep important thing is to pre-order as you get the expansion for free. You can still wait for reviews etc before you play your 2 hours for refund purposes. If you don't pre-order then you have to pay for the expansion.

And yep the deluxe is pretty pointless unless you want those skins.

The DLC will be more expensive than the cost of the collector's edition, so in truth you're saving money by purchasing it prior to release than waiting and purchasing it later.

No idea what that guy is on about. The news article I linked was pretty clear, as long as you pre order either edition then the story dlc is free.

That is the one that is confirmed. He might mean that buying Deluxe Edition will allow you to get future upcoming DLC that Ubisoft may or may not release

There is nothing else in the deluxe other than cosmetics and mastery points. It includes nothing else hence why I said I have no idea what he was going on about.
