After reading threads on Twitter/X about this game I decided not to buy this game!
Disrespecting any countries culture is not the way of wanting people to buy this game.

I know why it was necessary to do it but to use it as a promotional material for a video game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

It doesn't disrespect Japanese culture, it honors it. It's a top seller in Japan. Also gamers do not like snowflakes who get offended and easily triggered.

Shadows originally stated the game was as historically accurate as possible until they were called out for using a fake historians books as reference and then they back tracked on it, Nioh never claimed that and even though they never claimed it William Adams who was an English navigator was actually a real person who became a samurai unlike yasuke. Also the main enemy in nioh are yokai.
