Disrespect Japanese Culture!

After reading threads on Twitter/X about this game I decided not to buy this game!
Disrespecting any countries culture is not the way of wanting people to buy this game.

This game was written by former Tumblr writers to appeal to a non-existent "modern audience" by exploiting Japanese culture, painting it over a decades-old gameplay format that feels as old as it is, hoping the branding and marketing will be enough to sell to normies who do not pay attention to the facts surrounding the game and who will buy anything based on brand alone. Ultimately, this game will probably see a TON of returns on Steam and will flood the pre-order shelves at GameStop in a few weeks. Bad graphics, bad voice acting, TERRIBLE story, broken AI, dated gameplay... It's all exactly what you'd expect from Ubisoft in 2025.

You haven't said anything about previous Assassins Creed games where you punch the pope or Onimusha game about Nobonuga being a demon lord who wants to kill everyone. And you don't care about japanese rpg's that often depict wester religions as the overall evil. You don't care about Tom Cruise playing a white Samurai. You don't care about any of this.

You are just upset about game having a black guys as one of the main characters, that's all. You can pretend otherwise and find one stupid excuse after another, at the end of the day you are racist losers crying about a black dude in a video game online like an entitle sad little child. By your logic, we shouldn’t buy any video games. Can’t think of many that are respectful of other cultures, either. I think it is time to acknowledge that gaming is a fantasy, always set in fictional universes. Fake outrage only lasts a week anyway
