120 fps, but feels like 20
Have high framerate with DLSS and NVIDIA framegen, but it feels and look not like high fps.
Is it about absence of NVIDIA Reflex, of there's something else.

Is anyone feel same troubles?

It's about gameplay, not about sad 30 fps cut scenes.

What's your framerate without frame gen? If you're not already at 60fps or higher without it then you're going to feel the latency a lot more.

I don't have any input latency issues, it feels responsive and fluid both with and without frame gen with an average framerate in the mid 70s. If you're averaging 62fps then chances are you're dropping into the low 50s (any maybe even into the 40s) fairly often because the framerate varies a lot based on where you're at or what is going on.

The performance is pretty bad. Hoping a patch comes out soon. Literally my only gripe about it.

Yes! This is exactly how I feel. I can get highs of 120 but it feels much lower, and the lows of 60-70 feel half of that. The game is weirdly optimised for PC and needs some patches.

Ryzen 9 4080 mobile with 48GB of RAM and I'm seeing the same thing. Getting around 60-65FPS without frame gen, and with I'm getting ~100FPS, but it's extremely jittery and looks pretty bad. I've seen a lot of other people are having issues with it too. I grew up playing PS1, so I'm sure I can get used to it eventually, but I really shouldn't have to.

frame gen is bad for AMD too
when on it increases my frames to about 90-100 from 70ish but it feels bad, not smooth
and gpu util drops to 85% from 100%

its 100% not your pc but game . i seen 4090 unable to load textures on time . which means it run out of VRAM and ram that madness . they need to patch this asap ! i have moment in game i look at my FPS its says 75 or 67 or 65 but it feels like its way way lower then it goes away . game looks stunning for me . patching for sure needed to make it smoother

Yeah pretty much. Wasn't expecting it to be this bad on release, but feels very much like Ubisoft were expecting DLSS and framegen to carry their FPS into acceptable numbers.

Found something.
My fps monitor mod in nvidia control pannel droped from 165 to 60 fps.
Don't know the reason - today driver's update or it's game.

I'm going to restart the game and figure that out.

Apparently the newest drivers are actually performing worse than the last set - not super uncommon.

that was the problem
right click on desktop - nvidia control pannel - changing the resolution - check monitor's framerate
for some reason it was droped from 165 to 60

with nvidia frame gen turned on nvidia reflex is automatically turned on, said to be included in the game by devs as well. it's probably just absent from the menu, but is actually on.
