Deserved or not.. it's already 5 pm european time (Steam peak time).
I just hope that tencent will help ubisoft back to business.
It's a brand of my childhood, and somehow it hurts to see them failing like this, even if it's maybe deserved.

Edit: For newbies. The steamplayer peak is and was always 5-6 pm european time.

Hello, the numbers are way to low, We're not talking about whether it reached only 250,000 or just 300,000, which wouldn't be great for a AAA game—but we're talking about 41K.

The matter is settled.
I'm sorry

what do you mean other platforms than steam exist?

yes, but they have way lower sales, some leaked documents have shown, that ea games sell way more often on steam, as on ea as sample.

It should be the same with ubisoft connect. Because of the amount of players.
And do not forget, these other games, are also on other plattforms. Not just AC S.

Goalposts keep moving with each new thread mentioning the CC. Expect 75k this weekend at the minimum. The game is selling well on Steam and it's much cheaper on Ubi+ where I imagine quite a few people are playing it.
The exact same cope as Veilguard lmao.

Kcd 2 is a AAA game, what are you on about?

No it's not. They literally used the funding on the first game to develop the sequel. They aren't a AAA studio.
AAA refers to the budget, not the size of the studio.

Kcd2 had a huge budget, its a AAA game…

KCD 2 had a budget of 41,000,000

AC Shadows budget of 300,000,000+

Big difference

Other aaa games like monster hunter wilds with 1,4 million players, are on xbox too, aren't they? It's done ;) The numbers are way to low, we do not talk about 200 or 300k we talk about 41k ;)

75k concurrent isn't a success. Game cost over 350m to make. Lmao. Shoot even if it hit 500k across all platforms combined that still is a financial failure. The game is a flop. Ubisoft will have mass layoffs next year or later this year.

We are talking about the peak players at release date, NOT the average players, monster hunter wilds does not even have mp in the beginning, you need to unlock it later.

is that so hard for you to accept? Some people just build up their own reality..

Ubisoft needs to burn for this woke, disrespectful steaming pile of d0gsh1t. Japan should have banned this blasphemy. Bruh the blacktivities can't stop even in games. Like looting an emperor's tomb who's descendants are today's imperial family? lmao

The Japanese parliament, including the Japanese Prime Minister, have been talking about this game this week.

The Prime Minister did say they were going to take action against Ubisoft, mostly because they used shrines without getting permission, and the ability to destroy shrines.

I don't know what will happen but it's likely the Japanese government will pursue legal action against Ubisoft.
