yea agreed, i expected a decent time but game has been pretty fun. really enjoy stealthing as naoe, very ninja
also agreed on the battlepass... i get what theyre doing, giving a free way to get the premium skins (in a single player game) so i respect it. it's also there forever i heard? so no fomo
so it has very little in common with a bp, and they do themselves no favors making it look like a bp
i got banned for asking a guy if he can read lol
but hell yeah no fomo
yeah its cool, im all around pretty impressed. like i said i expected a decent time but dare i say ive been having a *good* time
whats bro yapping ab
they're more similar than they are different all around. both's greatest strength are a stunning feudal japan setting with lots of detail and beauty.
tsuhima's combat is definitely better, if only just. both games are similar. dodge, block, parry, counterattack, use an ability. im playing on hardest diff and havent had much trouble but i play sekiro for fun, so ymmv
i actually prefer the story for shadows so far, i always thought tsushima had an HBO worthy intro but then fell off a steep cliff until the ending. but i dont predict shadows will change my life or anything
i would say youre really not making a mistake getting either. if you own both, you have two high quality samurai open world games. if you have rotr, you have 3
The combat is also about on par or a bit below, but there is a stronger stealth element (at least for naoe) which definitely beats the stealth from ghost of tsushima. Ghost of tsushima stealth was so boring to me immediately and I don't tend to like stealth in games in general but shadows feels pretty dynamic and enjoyable thus far
I think the animations are much cooler and flashier in shadows than ghost of tsushima but there's less variety. Parkour also looks and feels the best it ever has imo
So far I'd grade it about equal to Ghost of tsushima in my limited playtime but it may change over time. ik AC games tend to get weaker the longer they go on and the story tends to drag.
played 40 hours on PS4.
was okay, didn't love the story and the bosses 'kinda fell flat.
i didnt care then why would i care now
"great minds" lmao
are you upset over an opinion
