i have just unlocked the hideout and i dont know what to do next

so i am in the map overlay after hideout unlock and i cant seem to press anything. all i have is the pet the dog quest that turns light blue, and that is the only thing i can click, nothing takes me out of the screen , i am stuck on it, someone know what i am missing here ?

I'm currently in the same predicament. It said something about assigning a scout, but it won't let me do anything further. Can't even back out of the screen.

does Alt Tabbing work?, i had similar issue with Connect version

Go to objectives, and start tracking one of the missions attached to your targets

no , alt tabbing does not change anything

Owning this game on Ubisoft Connect (before one complains not owning the game).

Same here, nothing that says what to do, ESC not working, and the map just stays open. Also saw a lot more of weird bugs, a deer that turns with half a body (really looked creepy), some clothing 'blowing up' like a balloon and tearing at buildings are only the few.

And the meditation is even worse than those stone things from Valhalla.

you mean the screen were all the objectives are ? sure, but i cant get out of the map screen, its like i am lockt onto it and all i can click on for interaction is that " dog " quest.

OK... got it. Use WASD to move a highlighted ciircle to the where the quest says its located and hit F to disspatch!

The highlight circle isn't visible until you start moving it

You gather resources around the hideout, build your first building and then you unlock an objective screen from where you track quests.

okey so here is what i did in the end, restart the game it will put you back into the map, try tracking again and it should give you an F option, i twas a little finicky but it did open up a portion in the end near the dog quest.

Great, so you have to track a quest that is not on the map, do NOTHING and just press F or the ' scout objectives' button on the top of the screen TWICE. Then you can get out of the map.
