The reason why the player count isnt so high is bc of the Ubisoft launcher - when you bough 2 AC games in the past (and get the 100 goldcoins) you get a 20% discount. So a lot of them bough it on ubisoft and not on steam - like me.

I have this game on console and I love the AC games, with Odyssey and Valhalla being two of my favorites.

But to answer your question didn't Valhalla release on Steam like 2 years after it's normal release? I would not expect and older game added to steam long after it's general release to get the same type of numbers.
