Shadows is the THIRD most played AC in Steam's history

Title say it all, people are ♥♥♥♥ talking, forgetting Assassins Creed is a very niche game ON PC, and the numbers show it (not on console where the major sales are). But fact is, the highest peak EVER for ANY Assassins Creed game ON STEAM:


Assassin's Creed Odyssey = 62.069

Assassin's Creed Origins = 41.551

Assassin's Creed Shadows = 38,516

Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag = 16.049

Assassin's Creed Valhalla = 15.679

Assassin's Creed® III = 15.007

Assassin's Creed Unity = 9.297

Assassin's Creed Mirage = 7.870

Assassin's Creed Syndicate = 4.728

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood = 3.848

Assassin's Creed II = 3.617

Assassin's Creed III Remastered = 3.561

Assassin's Creed Revelations = 3.105

Assassin's Creed Rogue = 2.361

This data was taken from SteamDB and it's important to put in perspective the game is not a complete failure like the haters here say, just because "it'll never reach 100k players". Well, never in history an AC game got 100k peak players or more.

This means Shadows is good? No. But maybe this data make the haters to shut up for a bit, and let who's playing the game make the important critics, to show what really is wrong and bad with the game, and the discussion to be a sea of "LOW PEAK PLAYERS".


*EDIT: As soon I posted this Steam removed the currently players numbers, for sure because Ubisoft asked. This is a pathetic move, considering, like I proved above, this is the third most played AC in Steam history on day 1. It's sad that a company spent so many years not listening to constructive feeback, but listened to empty "LOW NUMBERS COUNT" by steam review and discussion trolls. Ubisoft is hiding a success in numbers (and I'm not talking about the quality here) because of empty trolling. Dumb and pathetic move by Ubisoft.

The game is most likely a flop regardless but that's interesting to see. I think everyone expected higher numbers for AC games on steam.

Yeah, I didnt play yet, but with all the DEI mess, I'm expecting a low quality game. That said, AC was never strong on PC, even Black Flag and the Ezio trilogy, which were masterpieces.

You need to look in dictionary what "niche" means.
Assassins Creed is not a niche game by any standards, no matter what platform we talking about.
Also AC Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla and Mirage sold much much more on PC then on console.
