What an all round mess..

All the identity politics aside, The game is just all round bad.. The voice acting is horrible the writing is horrible the characters and their personalities are horrible the graphics are subpar but somehow the performance is horrendous.. The RTX 5090 struggles to maintain 60-70 fps at 1440p on max graphics.

This will be the end of ubisoft, I would say it's been great but it really hasn't.

Edit: I just want to add that turning on framegen gives you 200 fps so Nvidia is really counting on their customers even with a bloody $3000 GPU to use framegen even at 1440p..

Edit 2: Please don't bother commenting if you're using upscaling or framegen I'm talking STRICTLY about native resolution, A 5090 shouldn't have to enable these options at 1440p..

If you have 5090 with the latest Nvidia driver and you’re only getting 60-70 frames it’s a YOU issue. Check your settings again. Japanese voice is also amazing, and the experience is very immersive and well rounded.

I don't have a 5090 and i don't even own this abomination I'm just watching benchmarks videos from reliable youtubers and at native res the 5090 does not achieve more than 70 fps at 1440p max graphics.

It can jump to 80 at rare occasions but never goes higher.

I'm playing with Japanese voices and it's good so far. Performance is awesome with 4080 Super. Unlike MH Wilds which is a hog. Just wish cutscenes weren't capped at 30.

I have a 4090 and I've had zero issues so I have no idea why a 5090 would struggle with it.

english VA, yes, it's bad. Japanese VA, much much better.
also, that seems like a you problem my dude.
i got an rx 7800 xt and with High settings, RT Everywhere at Medium, FSR 75% I get 60-70 fps. FG on amd side is badly implemented, it's worse if its activated

Well, sometimes I set a game to run on max settings with my cool 4K screen and it doesn't do so well because my hardware is a few years out of date.

Game looks outstanding to me and the voice acting is next level from what I saw from a stream I watched last night. Maybe your standards are too high/unrealistic, OP?

Well I'm running it at max settings on a 4090 and I've had zero issues no stutter no lag fast loading times. Are you going by what you've read or have you actually played it?

Voice acting has been fine for me, playing with the Japanese voices though. Graphics looks awesome, especially for an AC game. Cutscene fps sucks though. And the music choices are questionable to say the least. Other than that the game seems very good so far. Feels much better than I thought it would, especially the combat

That is the sad nature of nvidias new cards, they’re all about frame generation. Cyberpunk does worse with native on 5090 and just about any modern game.
You’re essentially saying you came here just to discredit a game based on watching YouTube clips without having any relevant experience of your own, and your technical part of the opinion is not about even the game, it’s the graphics card.

Why do people who know nothing about hardware spend so much money on it then whine?

the metric that matters for a 5090 on a game like this would be RT dialed up, 4k output res and using DLSS native, quality and balanced with transformer model and seeing how it runs and how DLSS compares to DLAA to see if the tradeoff is bad or not.
