nope, its just because AC is a bad series.
its never been a fun game.
if it does well, its because of the "mega fans"
if it doesn't its because people are sick of the same game with a new skin.
thats all, its not that deep.
Afro Samurai, Legend of Yasuke, and the books were well before the "Woke" age.
Other than This game. EVERY article, show, and story of yasuke, was before the american obsession with "woke"ness.
Okay nightBAT. Sure thing.
Did me calling Assassins Creed bad hurt your feelings? Xp.
And just like that, I felt shame for being an adult who plays video games. I don't want to be lumped in the same group as the OP that typed that sentence.
Ubisoft is going Under because of Multiple games where they don't innovate yes.
they like making the same games over and over with no changes except "oooh better graphics"
has nothing to do with anything else.
there is more to the world than the USA, gotta remember that.
Feels like a B-Tier AC being oversold as a "AAAA" experience. It's still an RPG as opposed to the more action adventure gameplay mechanics of the original trilogy. It might as well be Oddyssey set in Japan, which would technically make it even weaker than Origins.
if you say so. Real history made the game fail, sure sure. go read a book.
the issue i have with EVERY AC game is its all the same. same story, same archtypes, same "escapes" same stealth. same everything. except "prettier". and thats like, All of Ubisofts games.
From the reviews... not that i put much stock into them, though, it sounds like everyone is gonna be playing Naoe, and bypassing Yaskue as his character is denied some of the mechanics that make... AC.... Well... AC.
if this is true, Yaskue kind of feels just like a virtue signal.
its just who he is, seriously, go read who he actually was, it makes sense.
but my god, AC needs some innovation. might not be a flop, but its prob not going to be successful either
also black man that can't stealth? its kind of built in isn't it?

Did you like, not think he existed?
man existed. he sure wasn't the best, never made it to samurai officially.
but like. the Man existed. and was a legend simply because, Black people are rare in Japan.

even to this day, its a Surprise when they see anyone of African acent.
For me Origin, Odyssey, Valhalla, brought on the table great mix of stealth and combat, Odyssey making the best mix. And it's no way the first Ubi games doing it, clearly Far Cry series shown also good mixes.
But for now, it's not working with Shadow, on start I should have acknowledge "Shadow" in the tittle, evoking much more stealth. But also the use of two different characters give up on mix of stealth and combats, it's either one either the other, and for both a weak mix.
So if I continue fail enter in ACS combats and stealth, I'll probably not even finish a play, but it means nothing for Origin/Odyssey/Valhalla, and if Ubisoft disappear I'll regret it. And seeing the junk that did Tencent with Torchlight, I doubt they can do anything with Ubi games in future. And I don't rejoice as sadistic if not psychotic haters, I deeply regret it if Ubi games disappear.
