After seeing the early reviews, My fears were confirmed. The game looks great from a visual perspective, maybe not Ghost of Tsushima levels, but for an AC game it truly looks beautiful. But everything else just looks bad
1. Two Protagonist is a bad system, anyone defending this is just wrong, if you want to be a big straightforward non-stealth guy, go play a different game, this is a stealth series and should have only focused on Naoe.
2. Writing is awful, not to mention your choices simply don't matter, if you pick "the wrong" choice, the game just tells you, that you're wrong and picks the right option for you.
3. Back to the old leveled gear system. It didn't work for Odyssey, and it doesn't work for any Assassins Creed game. Valhalla did it right, different gear that you can upgrade and have different abilities. It's a bad system and makes no sense for the series.
4. Still for some reason making assassinations worthless(though there is a button to switch to instakill assassinations). IN ASSASSINS CREED ASSASSINATIONS SHOULD BE INSTAKILLS. it's kinda the point? it's not like these dudes walking around and are demi-gods. they are normal people and last i checked if i stabbed you in the neck, you ain't gonna make it, or fight back at least.
5. Area traversal has been downgraded. you can't climb up mountains anymore, but this seems more like a system devised to make players try and play Yasuke more, as he isn't a good at assassin stuff...in an assassins creed game...

i could go on, those who didn't buy, congrats you won again. if you haven't done it, refund it. it's really not worth it.

The dual protagonist system is pretty bad though... all they had to do was have a male/female system like Valhalla and Odyssey. Only one protagonist.

I feel like they just wanted to shoehorn Yasuke into the game but then had to make another protagonist because they wanted male and female protags.

This is misguided. Yasuke could have been a side character like Nioh. No need for him to be protag and you avoid the controversy of whether he was a real Samurai or not.

Yeah, he could've just been a random NPC walking the streets listening to hiphop like in the trailer

No chance Ubisoft would waste such a perfect opportunity to invest in propaganda.

Speak for yourself. I much preferred Odyssey's gear system to Valhalla's boring system where you wore the same boring armor for the entire game.

And yet you didn't refund the game despite making this post before the game even unlocked. And you can't even claim to have bought a Steam key, because third party sites are exclusively selling Ubisoft keys.

1. Its awful to have different protag with completely different playstyle as an option. There should be forced one character with single playstyle.

4. Its awful to have option for instakill everyone. It should be forced for everyone, w/o having it as option.

The fact that this post got so much rewarded, is making me losing hope for modern gaming community

I mean I like the stealth but it hasn't been a stealth series for at least three games. And so far I've had a short time as the guy and most of what I've seen is playing as the woman who does stealth anyway.

I guess GTA 5 was terrible from your points.

His excuse is that Steam was too slow with the refund process.

In the end, if this guy still owns the game, he should be ashamed of himself. Starting this thread over a refund and not refunding is as low as it gets.

Who even updates the world on how they shop, anyway. This is equally as bad as the kids that feel the desperate need to share about their bans.
