How do I play before the release?

work as developer on game, be games journalist or give milions as investor to Ubisoft othervise wait till relese.

because, as a business, that exists to make money, they wanted to have at least some exclusivity, to avoid Steams commission. At least it isn't a year-2 years, like it has been before.

As with pretty much any release, content creators and reviewers got access early, to help build hype, and demonstrate gameplay/review it before release.

Actually I am thinking about becoming a ASMR V-tuber (I tried streaming gameplay but noone wants to watch that) just so I can play the next Assassins Creed for free and 2 days early.

Sure but I get jealous
and its kinda pointless, Assassins Creed is a big enough franchise.
Big enough so streamers who dont want to miss out would purchse it themselfs for content.
I mean streamers usually dont have much money
but the ones who got enough followers to be worthwile for a company
are either IRL streamers with big boobs who dont even play games
or they play every big release just for content anyway.
