Why "FATHER" is not translated?

I understand when you say it in japanese, but why not translate it in the subtitles?
Seems so weird and you can literally do it for the whole game within 5 seconds ..

Yeah, I agree that it's kinda odd, like how the other protagonists were saying specific words in their native language.
I loved the " Malaka " tho.

Presumably because the use of the word "father" would've been considered racist against Yasuke.
