Stop forcing ray tracing
Why is ray tracing a requirement when alot more people would be able to run the game at way better framerates without it.

Make it a setting like most other games and stop forcing this terrible idea that makes people with lower specs unable to play newer games at acceptable smooth frame rates.

Everyone wants money but there is a difference to how you do it.
Minimum GPU is GTX 1070 which doesn't have a dedicated ray tracing hardware so I think the game isn't going to force ray tracing. Maybe just a bit of "fake" ray tracing.

I saw a video showing the settings with ray tracing not being able to turn off. I wonder how the performance is on a 1070 tho since its before the RTX cards

I mean obviously not since that would most likely hurt the sales of the game alot

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QK9aUitVDM4 seems to go down to 22 fps at 1080p low settings. so seems unplayable without frame gen turned on which overall is never recommended at low framerates so i wonder how that will feel.

Hes also using a r7 5800x with that 1070 which doesnt make much sense so i highly think that people are gonna have a worse cpu aswell.

If you're still on a 10-series card, it's probably time to upgrade. Like you're already behind the PS5/Series X and PS5 Pro and the eventual PS6 in just 2 years. Just get a 4070 Super or 5070. It will last you another 7-8 years. I just think it's silly to complain about being behind console hardware of all things when your upgrade path is pretty clear and obvious. Just be happy your 10-series card got a lot more life out of it than a typical console would have, which is usually 2-4 years.

I think availability and accessibility is a good thing for people that cant afford the newest things. And this would also be a non issue if raytracing wasnt forced im pretty sure.

also why list that gpu on the minimum specs then if it becomes unplayable at times.

I dont have a 10 series card but i feel bad for the people that do because of this forced crap

Looking at top 10 most used GPU on Steam, 9 out of them are RTX cards, only the 1650 aren't capable to do RT.

Raytracing isn't new. The 10-series cards are literally 4 gens behind now. Do you not see how out of touch that first sentence you wrote is? This is not 1-2 gens behind, you're 4 gens behind. 9 years.
