So is anyone actually excited for this game?

All the talk about this game is just two different groups either buying or not buying it just to own the other group of internet people they don't even know.
Like all the praise and criticisms for the game are so obviously blown out of proportion from both sides with one trying to make it seem like the best thing ubisoft has ever done and the other trying to make it look like the worst. All over a game that from what i saw from the streamers who got early access just looks like another buggy ubisoft game that looks unoptimized and kind of lackluster.

Yep, love the franchise despite some iterations not living up to what they could had been (valhalla...) and I want to play this. I have fun in these games. Same seem to be the case with a lot of people. It looks good so it's one of the launch-titles I will actually buy. And for once my own schedule lines up perfecly with shadows release.

Do I expect a timeless masterpiece? No. Do I think the controversy is vastly blown out of proportions? Yes. My own expectations is a 8/10-game at the end of the day, which there is nothing wrong with.

No its also from a longstanding discontent from people who remember when ubi made games that had a different company logo that were actually full of good gameplay and they were industry leaders. They have been making games with the same stale formula for 10 years and treated its older fans like garbage and it is finally coming to a head with the company very likely going under

wouldn't say excited but ive wanted a japan based AC forever and i don't listen to BS from either side woke or anti and
from what ive seen the OW looks great naoe has really solid game play might dabble with yasuke but his play style and lack of basically any ability other than tank don't suit me personally and it looks to be a decent game even if the story and the characters and the personality's end up being crap because i can just skip all that if its filled with the usual modern day ♥♥♥♥♥

I will try it out in the 2h refund window, if I like it I will play it if not then to refund it goes. However, considering the state of games ubisoft has been making, my expectations are low.

Absolutely, love this franchise, played all of them. Favs are Odyssey and Origins. Really looking forward to a nice open world AC in Japan....can't wait!

The whiny, intentionally outraged, and pathetically fragile snowflakes are annoying but totally insignificant to me. Their foe rage is so predictable I simply ignore them. Life's too short. AC games...Love em!

No.. I genuinely wouldn't believe anyone to be excited for this game. People are free to play and like it, but to be excited for this game? Doubt.
