Report a translation problem
I hate the neo AC number crunching. Plus whatever else is going on. Syndicate and Unity were the tipping point for this tacked on RPG crap. Really boring games.
Which is why I won't play these modern AC games.
With that being said, its a matter of subjective opinion and bias.
The biggest problem for me, is not action stealth combat ( I prefer more tactical combat)
The story, character interaction and agency is more important to me and they are this games weak point (most Ubisoft games are awful at that)
There are simply better alternatives. But I respect and understand why some like this gameplay.
Yeah Unity was the major game change they obviously wanted to stick with going full rpg. People complained, Syndicate happened, people complained again, back to full rpg with Origins. lol That was weird and interesting. I also prefer the older games and would rather play them but I still enjoy the new ones. I ended up sharing thoughts on the series in a recent video if interested:

how is it any different? do AC shadows have an MMO type of gameplay with 20+ hotkeys for your skills? or is this a fighting game with combination of input keys to dish out a single move?
