What I have noticed is that many reviewers both streamer reviewers and game journos think that the story and setting is very weak, but that the combat is fun.

Seems like lukewarm reviews at best across the board tbh. Luke Stephens, who I *really* don't care for, spent half the verdict explaining that while he shat on the game for an hour, it was a "step in the right direction."

IGN is gracious but that's pretty obvious

It is important to remember that both game journos and streamer reviewers are just humans and often are biased in one way or another, some are more objective than others ofc.

Overall I think it looks like the game is decent from a gameplay perspective (its an AC game) but that the story, characters and setting is weak.. basically the vast majority of people have already made this guess months ago.. so not really a surprise.

This will sell very well on PS5 (not sure it will sell well on PC yet)

So far most think it is an "OK" game, then we have those that think its not very good at all and then a few that think its the GOTY.. reviews sure are all over the place.

But atleast you will get many different sources to see various aspect of the game.
