As long as half the game isn't spent in some sort of God fantasy land like Valhalla was, it should be better.
Ubisoft just isn't capable of hitting that same mark. That's not to say the game will be straight up bad. It'll be meh. Another half baked assassins creed game. Played worse played better. Much like Outlaws I picked it up cheap on their premium+ thing it wasn't good or bad just okay. Ubisoft have been happy with "okay" for a long time now. Quantity over quality and all that. I actually looked into a couple days ago over the last 18 years Ubisoft released 31 AC games (including spin offs) the formula gets real odd at that point.
Hell no. Sekiro feels more like torture than a dance. You can trust Ubisoft for making a samurai game that people can actually enjoy (see assassin's creed games for proof). From Software caters more to people who hate their lives and want to play games that are as unfun as possible.
If that is how you feel, which is fine, AC:S is a given for you. The games basically play themselves as long as you have the right hat equipped. I'd say preorder man.
If your new to the series, you definitely need to go buy some AC games for your Steam library.
I have a bunch of them and some have dozens of hours played. I don't care at all about the overarching story and the smaller scale stories of each entry are hit or miss for me. But, the gameplay and settings are almost always a good time for me. I wonder if I will actually complete this one? Sounds like the story is supposed to be good here. Also wonder how long the gameplay will stay fresh.
I have been wanting to play AC Rogue, sitting in my library. Some day. But I hear that one was really good, kinda under appreciated.
I have Sekiro in my library. Completly untouched, bought it on a sale & regretted it, a whole game centered around timed block & parries is not my thing at all.
Yes, they take place in medieval Japan, but they don't try to do the same thing.
Do give a try to Sekiro on very deep sale, maybe you'll like it!
I know that it's world design really is what kept me going in it, while it is MUCH too difficult for me lol.
i managed to make it past the giant Ox boss and stopped there before deciding to mess around with mods for it
Do you mean the Bull that's on fire? One of the few fights that pulls away from the clashing of swords aspect. Usually just stick to his side and slap him in the butt. Lmao. I'd say the first test is really Genichiro unless you go to Hirata first then it's Lady Butterfly. The game isn't easy but it has less bull crap than other From games. If you die there's an extremely high chance you honestly just made a mistake. Can't say the same for the other games. Especially where DS 2 hit boxes are concerned.
they are two totally different games that are destinated to different kinds of public...
