Yes, but the Samurai too.
Finally players looking forward to the game, without confusion.

What I will enjoy most will be exploring Japan, and building the base, which looks impeccable.
i am more excited to play as the Shinobi, but i will give Yasuke a chance to impress me. i dont see myself wanting to play AC as a tank, but if he ends up being fun to play as, i'm all for it. Naoe is the character that looks like the most fun to me tho.
and there are plenty of us looking forward to the game, we just usually cant get more than a few days with a post like this before it gets hijacked by trolls.
Frankly, I'm tired of these conversations, so I created this post.

Yes Naoe, it's perfect for this Assassin's Creed, it fits perfectly.

But what I like about Samurai is the clumsiness of Leap of Faith lol
I also really couldn't care less about those discussions.

But that reminded me there is something else about the AC franchise I'd like to see evolve, but it's sadly going nowhere slowly.

That's the interplay between the "historical timeline" and "modern timeline". Modern timeline is going nowhere slowly.

Frankly, as far as I can see, it's only there to frustrate the player with a story that *could* go somewhere, only it never does.

We're in the minority, apparently people don't like the modern story. It's pretty much the entire reason I play. Who knows if it'll ever have a conclusion.

At this stage, it became pretty obvious to me, it's only here to drop world shattering clue...
....and then do absolutely nothing about it.
It's easier and better for your sanity to just forget about it.

I dunno, Valhalla gave us the reveal that the Gods (all of them) were Isu illusions and that all religions are valid while also being victims of those illusions. It was important as they jumped from Christianity and Sumerian to the Egyptian pantheon without providing a connection.

Little bits keep me going.
I will definitely get this day one. I don't pre-order games. Not after I got Cyberpunked.
Am w8in for new AC release. My personal favorite are Origin and Valhalla.
I dnt care about how hard achievments are to get, or what colour is the skin of characters. I'm ready just to have fun while actually playing the game, but not checking if the story is historicaly correct.
I pre-ordered on PSN, so yes I'll be on day one.

May I ask why not PC?
On Playstation you will also be very well served:steamhappy:

The reason is: I do not have a good enough PC for high end graphics on this game.
So Ps5 Pro is a safe bet for me.
I would need to upgrade.

Having played Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, I think I'm gonna sit this one out on launch day and wait for a price drop or the complete edition a year later.

Hope you folks have a good time with it though.

Side note: anyone else surprised with the system requirements being so low?

I think it's on par with Valhalla, which in itself is fantastic in terms of graphics.

The more I read forums like these, the more I realize that gamers have zero standards and will play anything with an open world that runs well.

It’s like there isn’t a single thing about a video game or the company behind it that makes people take a moment and not buy a game full price on release.

Not many historical inaccuracies, not obvious identity politics, not a buggy release, not uninspired and samey gameplay, no controversy or flaw is enough to just take a step back..
Truly the perfect “consumers.”
Yes, it's just disgusting! All it takes for mindless consumerism is good gameplay, good graphics, & good story!
it's a disgrace, I am telling you, a disgrace!
No one standup for good trolling these days! And most bridges are in disrepair (since, you know, Trolls live under bridges)! Simply appalling!

And yet you did and said nothing to dispute it.
Is this the club of the "modern audience" ? All 20 people ? LOL
I won't be playing this crap even if Ubiwoke pays me to.
