Aww, the response asking what was wrong about Valhalla got deleted.
i thought mirage was peak modern AC, but i guess i am the only one on the planet who thinks this.
It's certainly an improvement over Vahalla.
You can ignore the social issues that YouTubers have with this game. The youth are self-absorbed, egotistical, propaganda spreaders.
Just remember, they can't write. They only know how to open their trap.
The hideout is one example of the improvements over Valhalla. The building mechanics in Shadows compared to Valhalla's village upgrade system is a huge improvement.
Parkour with Naoe is more exciting than the climbing in Valhalla. Combat and animations have been improved. Visually, it's the best-looking game the Canadians have ever made. The writing we don't know about yet, but I'm sure it'll get bashed. AI and writing in video games is never good.
The Japanese setting is perfect for a Creed sequel. Valhalla came out of left field and didn't suit the franchise. And that only happened because the film industry made Vikings incredibly popular with their television shows. Which also skyrocketed Travis Fimmel's career.
He's in everything now.
