Assassin vs Templar

After playing may AC games it became apparent the Templar must have some sort of Omniscience, always ahead of the protagonist!

Yet, meanwhile the Assassin got the best most skilled, most powerful, yet ignorant protagonist! ^_^

The series has done an awful job of actually exploring the factions and their philosophical differences, something UBI seem terrified of and mostly made the conflict background noice. And Shadows managed to do an even worse job

The Templars are ahead because the Assassins are written to be reactionary. They exist to kill bad guys/templars, while the Templars are always the ones with some kind of scheme

Say what you want about the Templars, but they know how to manage an organization.

The Assassins know how to down-size an org chart though so there's that. But yeah, they are usually playing catch up.

Templar are good at upsizing organisations, while Assassin's are good downsizing!
