Which is better to pre-order, steam or ubisoft connect?

Hi, genuine question, is it better to pre-order here in steam or ubisoft connect? I asked because in my ubisoft account I have a free 20% off voucher by buying the game. Are there differences or any special/add ons in the game by buying it on ubisoft connect or in steam?

If you don't mind rewarding Ubisoft for having a Ubisoft Connect requirement even on Steam, Ubisoft Connect probably makes sense. But if you're going to get the game anyway and don't like Ubisoft Connect being required, get the game on Steam so Ubisoft gets less of your money due to Valve/Steam taking a cut.

IMHO It comes down to price and experience. Which achievement/overlay system do you prefer to interact with? Other than that you will likely need to have both steam and connect running to run the game if you get it on steam, but steam will handle all the progression.

I reccomend Steam, if you do not care as much about price. for some games they will be added to your UBI library immediately, not sure about shadows though. achievments will count on both, same with ubi quests, for the points. so it really is up to store preference, but as someone who uses both I reccomend steam.
