Which is better to pre-order, steam or ubisoft connect?

Hi, genuine question, is it better to pre-order here in steam or ubisoft connect? I asked because in my ubisoft account I have a free 20% off voucher by buying the game. Are there differences or any special/add ons in the game by buying it on ubisoft connect or in steam?

If you only care about the cost, use Ubisoft Connect. If you want people to see your achievements or anything else Steam lists, you'll need to purchase it here.

It depends on which store you rather use.

Either way, the game requires the ubisoft account to work.

For my region, Ubisoft doesn't offer regional pricing, so I'd be paying the converted cost of €70. Whereas Steam has regional pricing and shows games in my own currency. So even with the 20%-100 Coin discount from Ubisoft Connect, Steam is the cheaper option for me.

Steam is also more accessible with refunds, and is the most feature-rich storefront of them all.

If the prices are the same for you, then the 20% discount is better. If you want all your games on one launcher/platform and care about Steam's other features, then Steam might be better.

Ubisoft Connect has also Archivmenents just other players cant see it.

if you want to unlock the ubisoft connect rewards, its ideal to get it on Ubi connect for the units

but Steam is also great

Steam is recommended because not only you'll receive social features, it's much easier to communicate on Steam forums in case of the game product is having technical bugs & glitches. That way, the developers can investigate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible before deploying a patch note worldwide.

Get the Uplay subscription a week before it opens. It's only 17.99. You will get full unlimited access preorder bonuses, and for some games early access. Play it all you want for a month, then just cancel the subscription.
