If Yasuke was Japanese instead of African...
Would people care about his lack of Assassin abilities? If he were Japanese and a samurai and his character was constantly at odds with Naoe for fighting without honor would people care less and be more open to playing as him? I think I will play both characters but just curious if people would be more inclined to play as him being limited to samurai abilities if he were a Japanese man and not African. The switch between two playstyles is intriguing and fits the universe of AC when you think of Templars being more of a warrior and assassins being more like ninja. Naoe is like an assassin while Yasuke is more of a Templar. And what if it had been William Adams as the samurai who accompanies Naoe instead of Yasuke? Would there still be a controversy?

tdlr: People are closet racists and would not care about Yasuke being a samurai with no shinobi abilities if he was a Japanese dude or William Adams.

Congratulations, you're now where rational people have been in the discussion since the beginning. If you backslide into "Yasuke didn't exist" though as others have you won't be acknowledged again.

You never read my original post (in which I never stated anything, it was a request for source), blatantly misrepresented a joke I made in another forum, and I found posts of you calling people "foot rests" in another thread.

Now you're welcoming me back where the "rational people" have been? I harbor no grudge my fellow gamer: maybe it's time for you to touch grass.

I wish you well.

Your source has been posted many times over. You came here to continue the same argument posed by others who try to dispute his existence. We're not having it again.

1) We agree that Yasuke was a real historical figure. That's out of the question.
