That would make no sense. He's too big.

I like how they make ropes break when he tries to sneak across them. And the fact that he can't climb. It's perfect.

I've never seen a linebacker climb like a ninja.

Real life parkour athletes are built like Naoe, not Yasuke.

Yasuke can stealth and parkour, but not as well as Naoe because he's not trained to be an assassin.

he is big only against the background of short Japanese people
he is of normal height
like the previous heroes of the games

Would be nice if during the events of the game he ends up joining the assassins and picks up a hidden blade and they teach him parkour and stuff so he can move like an actual assassin.
Hello no. Yasuke is already too much of a Mary Sue.

He can stealth kill. I agree on the parkour not being fast enough, but frankly, you don't need to do a lot of parkour when playing him anyway, and for the rest, even if it's a bother at first, switching to Naoe comes quite fast.

I don't think it's too dissimilar from games like either Nioh or Elden Ring where weight determines capability. If he were part of the bloodline or Isu reincarnated I could understand making him more nimble.

I'm telling that in the game, it's not needed to do a lot of parkour when you're playing Yasuke, not that you specifically don't need to do it. I don't care what you do or don't need. I'm just answering the concern you expressed with the experience i got from playing the game.
It would make zero sense to have two characters if they end up feeling the same to play. at that point it would be just a re-skin.

Either character can do pure stealth or pure combat or a mix of both...and each character is alittle more suited for each playstyle...throw in gear buffs and there are alot of potential play styles...For instance going pure stealth with the shinobi or can build a combat ninja....Yasuke can do stealth bow kills and finish them off in melee...I think this game won't be that bad at all. Add some base building for immersion and you have a good entry in the series...

But at the same time, what's the point of separating the normal AC protagonist's toolkit across two characters? Ninja is good at stealth, samurai is good at combat. Makes sense on its own.

But before, Viking is good at both. Greek is good at both. Everyone prior is good at both.

I don't really see what it adds except two characters for the story and a cumbersome swap mechanic. It's just kind of bizarre. Like Watchdogs Legion's main gimmick of "playing as anyone." It sounded cool, but just... what's the point?

Viking is the physical embodiment of Zeus. Greek is the eternal daughter of Greek God. Prior installments featured players of a bloodline that goes back to Adam & Eve.

There's lore reasons why.

Previous games wrapped them into one character. Now we have two with different strengths and weaknesses.

I am in favor of something like this, as I like classes, as opposed to "can do everything." The relative restrictions and strengths leave something to be worked and figured out. Like one class can approach things one way, another is better suited to dealing with it another. Butting up against these restrictions and finding ways to circumvent them or leaning heavily into the strengths, can be interesting.
