For the record, the "spying" they were doing is tracking how players play the game. So how often they use certain attacks, how they travel, that sort of thing. There's nothing in the allegation about personal information being collected. The only reason it's even a case at all is because the EU has incredibly strict laws regarding data collection without explicitly asking permission.
