Ubisoft Connect Down??

Is anyone else unable to connect to Ubisoft to launch AC Shadows?

when i start the game from steam it starts up then ubi connect then says that it can't sync achievements cancel,retry or skip. if you hit retry it will just do a loop, if you hit cancel it quits but if you hit skip you can still play the game. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3469424669

damn, i was freaking out trying to open division 2 and forced closed connect when it took forever. after that i couldnt login. thought it was a 'me issue'. i uninstalled connect and reinstalled it. now i have to verify all the installed games. ♥♥♥♥ YOU UBISOFT!

Lol they have a server status in their footer of their website but it goes to a broken page.

FOUND A WORKAROUND ON AC SHADOWS!

Log out

open the game again

Make sure you get the little login screen from AC shadows not the big one from the UC app

Before you login, go to settings and click run in offline mode

Go back and login

I did that and my game launched. It might be slightly off as I’m doing this from memory and don’t want to do it again!

i didn't have to do this, all i had to do was start the game up from steam and hit skip when the ubisoft connect app came up. then the game starts up. playing right now

This worked for me. However, to get the "little login screen from AC shadows", I had to shut down Steam and run AC Shadows from my desktop icon.
