GPU, CPU, RAM, driver-Version......
And what happens?
Error-code or something similiar?
If you have a Nvidia GPU and got the newest driver = chances are high that you fix your Problem with a older driver.
I got 0 problems
Got around 50hours in shadows (uplay)
Its a ubisoft game so its easy to buy it on ubi.
If you got it there you only need 1 launcher and not 2
Installed RAM 64.0 GB (63.8 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
No error code. Just Launch, says it's running for a nano second, and it just stops. No error or explanation of what happened. I thought it was just Steam not connected with UBI-Connect or something. Turns out, nope, they are connected. Shadows just doesn't launch. Though every game I have does. I reinstalled 4 times already for a total of 16hrs of installing this game. Nothing...
The driver is up to date. Disabled Overlays, ran administrator, I did the whole works. I even had to change code from 0 to 1 in some weird file.
Game does not launch after clicking Play in Steam • Link
If Ubisoft Connect is already running in the background when attempting to play the Steam version for the first time, the game may fail to launch after the Ubisoft Connect installation step. Completely closing out of Ubisoft Connect before clicking Play may resolve this issue, allowing the game to launch.[5]
