Just saw this and thought it relevant.
The game didn't flop, it had the second most successful launch in Assassin's Creed history, behind only Valhalla (Which itself was an anomaly, as it released near the holidays, smack in the middle of the pandemic when everyone was on lockdown with nothing else to do. Where it not for those unique and nonreplicable circumstances, Shadows would have had the biggest launch in the series history).
Just take the L and move on.
On Steam as opposed to the publishers subscription service. Where you can play it all of the way through for eighteen bucks, or on consoles where you can buy a physical edition. Where you can lend, trade, or sell used. Those of us who bought and played here. Probably care too much about everything in one place or achievements.
That number is a testament to storefront loyalty. Not to whether the game is enjoying real success, and having played the game from beginning to end. I agree with the guys who put out that video. The game isn't woke you all are just racists. It take more then one character being black. For something to be woke let alone offensively woke.
Another person who think all video games are played on Steam. Probably thinks the world is flat also.
I miss when the series would desync you when you went to the edge of the city, or killed too many civilians.
That was REAL historical accuracy not this slop.
I really think that people are so annoyed with virtue signaling in media these days that they panic and make some stuff a bigger deal that it should be.
But devs like Bioware have really created this problem. The whole barv thing will go down in game history as the most cringe virtue signaling of all time.
Exactly. It's the devs that are the problem not the many Manosphere hate mongers riling up the neckbeards.
