There are hundreds extremely well samurai stories, even some women. They intentionally did not use any of it.
The whole problem become when they took fictional cartoon story of Yasuke and said that it is historically accurate based on real events ..
Previous games "this is fictional work" .. and from Syndicate, they changed it.
No one would care if they just shut up and ubisoft didnt try sink ubisoft.
Reminds me stupid manuals like on a microwaves "do not dry live animals inside" or on milk bottle "may contain milk".
^
Ubisoft on their Podcast Literally said about AC Shadows it was the most Historically accurate game they have ever made. They then went a step further and said its so historically accurate it could be used as "Educational Tools" lmao! So you can't say they never said that when they said it everywhere every chance they got. here is AC Shadows lead producer talking about how historically accurate it is.
"According to the game's lead producer, Karl Onnée, in an interview with Gamesindustrybiz, the long development time on Assassin's Creed Shadows is all about ensuring the game is as "authentic as possible." Assassin's Creed games have long been considered incredible feats of {{historical accuracy}}, so much so they can be {{considered educational tools}} in some capacity, and Onnée explains that getting that level of accuracy right takes time."
The only ones flat out lying are yourselves.
They also said this.
"Ubisoft reportedly delayed Assassin's Creed Shadows to polish up bugs and improve historical accuracy.
A new report has claimed that Ubisoft is "actively addressing" concerns over historical accuracy, and is altering "some of Yasuke’s story and how he’s portrayed in the game."
It's also been claimed that Ubisoft cut corners over asset approval, and brought historical experts on board much later than other projects, despite the game's scale."
Nothing about this game is historically accurate, they shouldn't have claimed any of this lol.
