i got a 4090 and play with 4k max settings (+14700K with 300W Max/old bios)
DLAA around 80 FPS (still pretty smooth for 80FPS with FG)
DLSS Qual around 100 FPS (with FG)
Even DLSS Qual looks pretty nice. not 100% like DLAA but its rly good
(DLSS4 and DLAA4)
i would not play in 4k max with a 4070ti but for 1080 and 1440P it should be more then enough
If you want to use presets I suggest a console ..... Otherwise with a PC you have to do the optimizations yourself because of the vast variety of set ups and every one is a little different. What I would recommend is starting with the Very High preset and then manually set things like textures to the highest settings and if you need more performance tweak some of the heavier settings down another notch such as clouds and fog since there really isn't much of a difference in visuals for those settings but they do hit your FPS much more for very little upgrade (if any) to the graphics
I would also suggest to initially not use frame generation, tweak your graphics so you get better than 60 FPS average and then kick in frame gen. For instance I get 66 FPS with no frame gen and then 120 FPS with frame gen on. If you are getting 80 FPS with frame gen then you basic FPS are just 40 FPS which to me is noticeably laggy. 120 FPS with frame gen = about the same lag as 60 FPS. You cannot make time go backwards so lag is always going to be present based on your basic framerate which is going to be half of what it appears to be with frame gen enabled.
Don't be mean to someone, we live in a world where Bethesda is a thing. So anyone asking if their system can run something isn't unreasonable.
This is what I did lol
I turned on MFG 4x and I got 180-230+ fps
It’s so smooth with only 20ms input lag. Wasn’t noticeable when playing with Dualsense controller. As long as base frame rate is above 60fps. I’m very happy
Edit
I use max settings incl RT at 1440p
Which is specifically designed for the 50 series. Which yet again, like I said, is fake frames. I'm talking about native resolution here. These games are horribly optimized that we need to rely on DLSS and Fake Generation in order to get some decent performance. Even then, it's basically fake performance and everything looks ugly. I'm sorry but if I'm paying 1200-1700$ on a GPU. It should be hitting those frames at native. NVIDIA is literally the Apple of GPU's now.
